Cradled in the folds of the loftiest mountains of the world, Darjeeling is justly regarded as the queen of India's hill-stations. Tranquil tea plantations, hills rolling against the Khangchendzonga range, the Toy Train, elegant monasteries and charming hilltops, all add to the charm of Darjeeling, making it a special destination in the east. While the Buddhist Monasteries and the Hindu temples are of architectural and cultural importance, the Himalayan physiography of a lofty mountainous terrain and cascading rivers offers adventure sports like trekking and mountaineering.

Included: Accommodation: Accommodation in twin sharing trekker huts/Camp.
Meals: 6 breakfasts, 6 lunches, 6 dinners.
Transport: Vehicle for the Pickup and transfer for trekking place with all road taxes and parking fees.
Guide: English speaking guide during the trek.
Others: Kitchen equipment, tent, table and mattresses, vegetarian food, cook, helper, horses/porters for luggage.
Not included: · Visas, travel insurance (compulsory)

  • Day 1: Darjeeling - Maneybhanjyang - Tonglu

    We will pick you up from Darjeeling in the morning and drive to Maneybhanjyang (2,134m; 1.5 hour), the starting point of the trek. The day's walk, about 6 hours, is uphill and the trail passes through the small village of Chitre and forests of rhododendrons and magnolias. The camping area at Tonglu (3,020m) is located on a hilltop overlooking the Sikkim Himalayas. Overnight at Tonglu.

  • Day 2: Tonglu - Kalpokhri

    Today you have a pleasant walk through the forest, which is home to the rare Red Panda and the Tragopan. After about 5 hours you will reach the camping area of Kalapokhri (3,100m), where you will spend the night in camp.

  • Day 3: Kalpokhri - Sandakphu

    After breakfast, you will start the trek to Sandakphu (3,636m), which takes about 6 hours. Sandakphu offers excellent views of the mountains. On a clear day one can see the peaks of Lhotse (8,501m), Everest (8,848m) and Makalu (8,475m) of the Nepali Himalayas and the huge Kanchenjunga massif (8,586m) along with other peaks of the Sikkim Himalayas. Overnight at Sandakphu. After breakfast, you will start the trek to Sandakphu (3,636m), which takes about 6 hours. Sandakphu offers excellent views of the mountains. On a clear day one can see the peaks of Lhotse (8,501m), Everest (8,848m) and Makalu (8,475m) of the Himalayas on the other side of the border of Nepal and the huge Kanchenjunga massif (8,586m) along with other peaks of the Sikkim Himalayas. Overnight at Sandakphu.

  • Day 4: Sandakphu - Phalut

    The trail follows a ridge is considered one of the most enjoyable and scenic walks in the Himalayas. The entire range of snowy peaks is always in view and the trail passes through high altitude vegetation and areas of dwarf rhododendrons and firs. The walk to Phalut (3,600m) is about 7 hours. Overnight at Phalut

  • Day 5: Phalut - Rammam

    In the early morning you will walk up to Phalut summit to view the sunrise over the Himalayas. After breakfast, you will start trekking to Rammam (2,560m), which takes about 5 hours. The trail passes through the villages of Gorkhey and Samanden and the forest provides ample opportunities for bird watching. Overnight at Rammam.
