Learn to surf in Morocco.

Morocco offers some of the best conditions in the world for surfing. Both beginners and professionals are drawn to the long waves of the small town Thagazout. This is the perfect spot to learn to surf, and a stay at our surfcamp will boost your development or get you started with surfing in the best possible way. Everything you need to get started is included and the instructors will get you riding waves in no time. When not in the water, there are plenty of things to do and see. Have a swim in the sweet water of Paradise Valley, enjoy the vivid markets of Agadir, or a relaxing hamam bath. Saturday is our arrival day and courses start every Sunday, all season long.

Enjoy the sun, get some new friends, check out Morocco and surf.

Maybe you have never tried surfing before or you have tried a couple of times but never really put in the time to learn. Then this is the perfect set-up for you. During this week you and other participants will be given close follow-up advice by highly qualified instructors who will make sure that you develop your surfing skills and catch a lot of waves at beaches which suit your surfing ability.

  • 1 Week Example

The following is an example of what a normal week could look like at the surf camp.

  • Day 1

Arrival day. Check in at the Surf Camp and go for a dip in the ocean, go for a city walk and simply just chill on our roof top terrace.

  • Day 2

We wake up and have breakfast at 09:00, and assess the conditions for the day. You will be assigned to your instructor and divided into groups depending on your level of surfing. Once at the beach, the class will start with an equipment and safety introduction and then we will start working on paddling and pop-ups: the basics of surfing a wave. After 2.5 hours, your body will be tired and you can spend the afternoon as you please. Dinner is organized at 20:00, if you want to join.

  • Day 3

Breakfast at 09:00, then off to the beach. Where we go depends on the conditions. If it's good, we might take a roadtrip down south to deserted beaches and make it a day trip. We always find some good waves for the lesson. If you want to surf more in the afternoon, and conditions are good, there are small waves to practice on in front of the camp. Dinner is organized at 20:00, if you want to join.

  • Day 4

Breakfast at 09:00, then off to the beach. By now you are feeling comfortable with the board and the waves. The more waves you catch, the faster you will develop. Every day there are new things to learn. Knowing the rules and the code of conduct is a big part of being safe in the water. We have dinner at 20:00, or if you are keen, you can try some of the local restaurants down the street.
