Until you come to a halt and your helmet is taken off and your life jacket on. Launching your kayak on the peaceful lake you paddle along the jungle's edge looking for monkeys. Day 1 : Arrive at ECO Resort where you will stay the next 3 nights.
When you arrive your room might not be ready until 14.00. If so, you can store your luggage and use the swimming pool to relax and splash around. The resort has many facilities to keep you occupied. Remember also to swing by the Go Beyond Service Office for a bit of inspiration, a friendly chat or that essential piece of advice.
Today's trip will start between 12.30 – 13.00 hrs where you will be picked up. It is about 1 hour drive to get to the starting point of the trip. It is set in a local village that grows coffee for their living. Half of the staff employed is from the local village.
You will be instructed on and fitted with equipment – then it is off to the jungle and of you go, zip lining through the forest canopy. Awaiting you are 28 stations (the longest one ranges a tremendous 900 meters1), 4 abseils and even a flying skateboard. You are guaranteed a lot of fun on this adventure.
You will go back to the camp where dinner will be served and expected arrival back in Chiang Mai is approximately between 20.00 and 21.00 hrs.
Day 2: Make sure to have an early breakfast as you will be picked up from ECO Resort around 08.
You will drive about 45 minute north of the city, which brings you to the beautiful Mae Ngat Valley. Start with a visit to the amazing Ban Den Temple located at the entrance of the Valley. Although this trip is not a Temple tour this Wat is hard to miss and makes a great starting point for your ride. Leaving all the glitz and glamour behind you will now head into the Valley through open rice fields, by passing local farmers tending to their crops, and by experiencing traditional farming. Cooling off you will stop at a local produce markets and see what is on the menu. Relaxed you will continue your ride through the rural villages to the south of the Valley.
After a fruity treat, you will swap your two wheels for a paddle and a kayak. You will then be ready to change pace, and leave civilisation behind. With help of the slow current of the Mae Ping River you will steer your kayak through the Mae Taeng Jungle Reserve, which is only accessible by boat. A truly peaceful, serene and quite setting, as bird life will accompany you through the Forest Reserve. When you can put down you paddle, you will have reached the far south end of the Mae Ngat Valley. Here you will usually be greated by a kayaking monk, a friend, and a cozy Restaurant in a plantation setting will be waiting for you with a well-deserved meal and a cold drink
Once back at ECO Resort in the afternoon, you can ask the Travel Advisor at ECO Resort Chiang Mai for advice on good places to enjoy the rest of the evening.
Day 3 : Today pick up is arranged between 07.
45 - 08.15 hrs. It is time for half a day ATV experience. The 3 hour trip will begin at Mae Rim taking you thru the beautiful landscape of rice fields and farm terraces driving through hill tribe's village on the way. You will be riding up the mountain with the elevation of 1495 m. Expected arrival back at the hotel is around lunchtime. You will then have the rest of the day to explore Chiang Mai temples, opt for a bungy jump or simply just relax at the pool.
Day 4 : Today is the last day of your package and you have to check out at 12.
00 noon. Enjoy breakfast served between 06.30 and 10.30. After checkout you will be able to store your luggage and take a shower if needed. If you need guidance or help for your onwards journey, simply ask the Service Guide for help and recommendations.

All year. In northern Thailand, the Jun - Oct rainy season can bring heavy and regular rainfall. The best time to visit is Nov - Feb, when it is dry and temperatures are at their lowest around 20-25 degrees. From Mar - May the temperature can rise to 39 degrees.
